What about yourself have you identified as being your personal U.S.P?
My style is unique as I have had many influences over time, I have been told that my characters look like a mix of Disney characters and Anime/Manga characters, which is what my drawing style was inspired by. It has also been mentioned that there is something marketable about them and they would make fun action figures.
Where do you see yourself working in A. 19th months? I would like to be working in an illustration studio, working on my personal graphic novel: Till Death Do We Part. B. 5 years? By this time I would have liked to publish my graphic novel and hopefully achieved recognition through it and maybe be hired by a company. C. The rest of your career.I would like to work for myself, being my own illustrator and graphic novelist as I have many story's I would like to bring to life. I would also like to one day make my graphic novel into a film, which I would need to hire an animator for.
What do you need to achieve this? I would need lots of practice with graphic novels, someone to teach me the basics of them, I would need to work hard and stay motivated. I would need an animator that works in a style that I like, I would need to be earning quite a lot of money for this.
What potential clients, companies or agencies can you identify?
What will your portfolio look like? And what form will this take?
